Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Collier County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope.

Habitat for Humanity of Collier County is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.  Collier County’s Habitat for Humanity, building in Naples and Immokalee, is one of only two groups that have built over 2,000 homes.  Their goal is to build 120 homes a year.  They have received a 4-Star rating by Charity Navigator. Let Mayflower help connect you to Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer, either financially, in the actual building process, offering classes in home ownership, volunteer in their ReStore shop or teaching English as a Second Language to their residents!
