The mission of St. Matthew\u2019s House has been to help those who through circumstances in their lives need a hand up. All the ministries and programs at St. Matthew\u2019s House are case-managed through love and discipline, to address the underlying issues that prevent the clients from achieving independence and reconnecting with God, their families and their sense of purpose.  They have many facets to their ministry.  They operate a food pantry, soup kitchen and training in the culinary arts.  They also provide long-term recovery housing and treatment for men and women with substance abuse problems. Mayflower supports them monetarily through a special donation and on “Souper Bowl” Sunday.<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
