Care Ministries<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

Our Pastor and Care Pastors provide care for our members and family in times of need. When contacted, the Pastor or Care Pastors can visit those who are hospitalized, in rehabilitation or who need support during critical times. Care Pastors<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Care Pastors are members of the church who care about others, and help by being present, listening, encouraging, sympathizing and praying with those to whom they minister. They have received special training for their position. Care Pastors have an ethical and legal responsibility to maintain confidentiality.<\/strong>
Care Pastors visit and make phone calls to their care receivers on a regular basis. They also send cards to care receivers and other members of the congregation. If we can support you, please contact the office at 239-775-0055.<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Prayer Team<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

The Prayer Team has been an important ministry of Mayflower since our church was formed.  At that time prayer requests were passed to members by phone.  This has since become the responsibility of the Care Pastors and the Prayer Team.  Members pray daily for individuals, organizations, and others. It’s easy to submit a prayer request.  Just submit the form below and your request will be added to the Prayer Lost.<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

The Prayer Team meets every two weeks in the Sanctuary at 10:00 AM on the 2nd and 4th Fridays.  This allows quiet time for each communal reflection and prayer.  Then, each person, concern or issue on the prayer list is prayed for.  Anyone can join the Prayer Team by coming to a Friday prayer time.<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
